Your own double cabin and bathroom on a 40-foot sailing catamaran. Skipper and hostess aboard. Five other guests, matched with you by the Oblige Compass. Not a party boat; a small, quiet week at sea with people who want the same thing.
How it works
You book a cabin
One guest or two. Every cabin is a double with its own bathroom. A solo traveller has the cabin alone; we do not bunk strangers together.
We build the six
The Compass takes four minutes. We use it to match rhythm, appetite for activity and need for quiet. We then tell you the group's shape before you confirm.
We sail the week
Saturday to Saturday. Three or four hours of sailing a day, a bay every afternoon, dinner aboard most nights, a village when it is worth it.
The questions nobody likes to ask
"Who will I end up with?"
Adults, mostly 35 to 60, most of them travelling solo or as a pair, who answered the same twelve questions as you. Before you pay anything, we send you the group's shape: how many solo, how many couples, age range, countries. If it is not for you, you say so and lose nothing.
"Will I have to socialise all the time?"
Meals are together because that is the point of a small boat. Everything else is yours: a cabin with a door, a bow trampoline, a swim off the stern, a book in the shade. Nobody organises games.
"Is it safe?"
A professional skipper commands the boat and decides whether we sail; the boat is registered and insured for paying guests; we stay in a sailing area where a sheltered bay is always within a few hours. Cabins lock. Alcohol is at dinner, not a programme.
"What kind of people come?"
People who would rather swim before breakfast than queue for a club. First-season honesty: this is our launch year and we will not invent testimonials. We would rather you judge us from the Compass and a call with the skipper.
What a Social week costs
From to per guest.
May and October · June · July · August · September . Per guest, per week, in your own cabin.
+ per guest · cleaning before/after, bed linen & towels, welcome kit (beach towel, slippers, courtesy kit)
+ cash fund per guest
The €200 service & welcome fee is fixed and covers professional cleaning before/after, bed linen and towels, and a welcome kit with beach towel, slippers and courtesy kit. The separate cash fund pays for food and drink aboard, fuel, moorings and park fees. It is shared across the six guests and settled on the last evening; what is left comes back to you. Flights, lunches and dinners ashore and personal spending are not included.
